Response from Havasu

We are using the white boards, setting a pt goal per day, and following through on making sure that the goals met. The staff, patients and MD’s love it. Daily rounding by the director and Lead clinical nurse are done daily, and routine rounding on the unit by our senior leadership is conducted.

Glad to hear that others are having similar experiences to ours! We are in the process of getting larger wipe off boards in the rooms that have RN, NA, date, and goals stenciled right on them. We can round and make sure that they are achievable goals that are updated daily. The doctors have said that they like them because it gives them a talking point when they enter the room. It is a great way to assure that we know the patients goal!
